Doctoral scholarship in combating Antibiotic Resistance using artificial intelligence and experiment-driven solutions
We are pleased to announce a PhD scholarship opportunity for talented and motivated candidates interested in addressing one of the most urgent global health challenges: the rise of antibiotic resistance. This doctoral research project, "Combating the silent pandemic of Antibiotic Resistance through artificial intelligence and experiment-driven solutions," will explore innovative approaches to fight antimicrobial resistance by combining computational techniques with laboratory-based experiments.
The successful candidate will collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team of microbiologists, chemists, and computational scientists.
The ideal candidate for this project should have:
- A Master's degree in molecular biology, microbiology, bioinformatics, computational biology, medicinal chemistry, or a related field.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques related to microbiology and antimicrobial testing, as well as familiarity with data analysis and artificial intelligence
- Proficiency in English
